nationals are coming soon, and we need to order the suit+cap+shirt ASAP, like now. or else, we won't get it ready by nationals. so, is it agreed upon that the cap is the same as last year? (SCGS on the side) if that's the case, then can you email me (eunice.lua@hotmail.com) the colour that you want for the cap? and, i'll soon be posting the design for the swimshirt. tisa suggested that we just do "SCGSSWIMTEAM2009" i'm okay with that, since we already have no time. so include whether you agree or not in your email okay! thanks :D

if we're getting a swimtee&suit, (obviously we are) we should design and order (ASAP) or else, they won't come in time or something?
so, i've sms-ed Julia to help us come up with a design/slogan, but she has not replied (julia, if you're seeing this, reply now! hahahaha) you can also design/create a slogan, or something, and we'll see.
THE SWIMSUIT
yingfa/TYR?
munyee says yingfa's cutting's not nice. so what do you say? i know the synchro swimmers use yingfa, how do you find yingfa?
yingfa's IS cheaper, it's like $30.50, as to what i see online.
TYR, if we're getting the same one, we should still be able to get the same price (i don't know how much it is). but if we're getting the new one, which they call fusion, the retail price is $84, but it should be cheaper at the warehouse. i'll check, so give me your opinions on which brand you want! (either at the tagboard, or in school!)

Secondary One Orientation 2009

When: 2/5/6 January 2009 (probably)
Where: Shaw Hall booth
What: Presentation - speech, video/powerpoint, signing up, showcasing our equipments etc.
Who: From the Swim Team to the Secondary Ones of 2009
Why: To recruit (potentially strong) swimmers

POINTS TO NOTE

To eradicate the mentality of swimming as being a tiring CCA/tough trainings/all work and no play etc.
We want them to see us as a fun and bonded CCA
We don't want them, especially primary school's swimmers, to think that swimming in the secondary division is the same as primary's = train and train and no fun and no bonding... (Get as many Primary School swimmers as possible)

Mrs De was telling the teachers (Mrs Lee & Mrs Bowness) about this camp on the plane coming back from Kinabalu, so Mrs B last minute wants the swimmers to join in this camp!
Uhmmmmmmmm, after finding out whether everyone can/cannot attend.. someone is suppose to get back to Mrs B to tell her about who is/not going :D

Mel says its compulsory so unless you are overseas/ have some funny camp to attend to or any other valid reason to not attend it (excuses such as club training, tuition are INVALID reasons!) then you must attend it!

Anyways, this notice is for the sec ones. I know that you are all major mugging now that the eoys are approaching but Deb sent an email regarding the swim board. We have to redecorate it.

She also said that we shouldn't use fragile stuff like the wooden letters. ALSO, we have to show that SC swim is artistic as well as we are talented in swimming(:

sorry rachel, sarah, jocelyn and i have not been able to make it for training recently. anyhow, let us all try our best this year and prove the whole school wrong. we really have to work hard this year so that we'll get some respect from people around and hopefully get to get honoured during honours day this year. dont tell yourself that youre not fast so this doesnt apply to you cause in the end its a team effort and every single team member plays a part in both achieving and keeping team spirit alive.
